Barry Concool, M.D. is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Panhandle Laser Vision Institute, serving patients in the Pensacola area. Dr. Concool specializes in bladeless LASIK surgery, dry eye management, laser cataract surgery, and PRK.
Dr. Concool earned his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he later achieved the rank of Chief Resident and one of only two in the country to be selected for the prestigious American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery Fellowship. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and recognized as one of the nation’s most experienced LASIK surgeons by both Alcon and Abbott Medical Optics.
Dr. Concool is keenly involved in guiding fellow surgeons on the latest LASIK techniques and offering his expertise on complex cases, as well as being a proud member of local, state and national humanitarian societies.
